John Johnson

Entrepreneur, researcher, professor at Colorado State University - Global Campus, USA

Dr. Johnson has worked in the international environment for 30 years and has taught in higher education for over 16 years. He holds a Masters in Human Resources, a Certificate from Cambridge University and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Education with a focus on Leadership from Biola University, which is rated as one of the top 100 universities of its kind in the USA.

His international experience includes living for seven years outside of the United States and teaching in Eastern & Western Europe, Asia and Africa in countries such as the United States, Switzerland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Thailand, China, Japan, Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ethiopia.  He lived for 5 years in the Ukraine and taught University Courses there.  He speaks Spanish and Russian and has professional dialogue on a regular basis in both of these languages.

Dr. Johnson did his dissertation research on cultural change in educational leadership in Ukraine in the first decade of independence.  He was the first American to write a dissertation about Leadership in the Ukraine.  He was honored for his long service in building relationships between Educators in the Eastern Europe and those in the United States.

Dr. Johnson has taught over 300 university courses, including more than 150 taught entirely online. His successful track record of instruction to students includes such areas as Organizational Development, International Business, HRM, International Management, and English/Communications.

Dr. Johnson is a writer and has authored seven books and numerous peer reviewed articles on Management and Leadership.  He delivers presentations on a regular basis at conferences such as the Higher Learning Commission conference in Chicago and the USDLA in St. Louis, USA.  He has an active research agenda which includes a long term grant funded study of Barriers to Entrepreneurship for Women in the Ukraine and Poland and presented results in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Warsaw and Krakow.

Hanna Sanko

Professor, Colorado State University Global Campus

Hanna Sanko holds a Bachelors in Economics and a Masters Degree in Accounting and Audit. She has been teaching in American Universities since 2002 and currently serves as a Professor of Accounting at Colorado State University Global Campus.  Throughout her teaching career she has taught over 100 courses, including many in the on-line environment. 

In addition to her academic career, she has experience in business as well. During the 1990s she evaluated business plans for a Bank in Kyiv Ukraine, and served as a Controller at a German American Investment company there. She has made presentations on ethical issues in business to graduate students in China, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and Switzerland.  In addition to her degrees she holds a Certificate in Investment Fund Assets Management from the International Center for Privatization, Investment and Management in Kyiv, Ukraine (1997).

 

Krzysztof Oleksy

Krzysztof Oleksy is responsible for business development and management of contracted services, involved in setting up of 2 academic spin-offs (Alsitech sp. z o.o. and FlexAndRobust Systems sp. z o.o.). Since 2002 works at University of Technology as specialist for university intelectual property commercialization.

Graduate of Information Technology and Econometrics at Economic Academy in Krakow and postgraduate of project management at AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.

Participated in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education program “Top 500 Innovators Science-Management Commercialization” at Stanford University Co-creator and animator of “caseLAB – The Lab of Good Practices” - the series of workshops that concern in application of Design Thinking and Business Model Canvas methodology in business initiatives.

Mariya Mulyava

Owner, CEO, Galtrans-Logistics

Mariya Mulyava has 17 years experience in logistics, transportation and consulting. During this time, she has been building the company that delivers the goods all over the world, with 5 offices in Ukraine and Poland, with asset-based fleet of trucks and customs agency.  She is Deputy Head of of the Committee in Lviv Chamber of Commerce for international activity. Mariya contributes a lot to improvement of cooperation with state authorities and is active promoter of anticorruption ideas. Mariya is an active member and former regional manager of the European Business Association.

Mariya has a Master's degree in Environment and Natural Resources Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Management of Foreign Economic Activities.

Natalia Koliadko

Natalia has 12 years’ experience in personnel development at Ukrainian and international companies, such as Nova Linia, Uniqa, Nestlé Business Services.

As a coach for managers, Natalia strongly convinced that main obstacles on the way to success are our self-esteem and inner beliefs.

Natalia has a master's degree in organizational psychology. She is certified trainer and coach (European Coach Federation). Natalia’s specializations are: interpersonal communication, managerial and leadership competencies development.

Roksolyana Voronovska

Buisness Development Director and Operations Executive at Lviv Business School of UCU 

Roksolyana joined the school back in 2012 and has being dealing with different projects. Aslo worked in the project to develop and implement Competitiveness Strategy of Lviv as part of NGO ‘Foundation for Effective Governance’. She also has two years of work experience in a governmental organization, in particular was involved in working with international organizations, such as UN bodies. Master of International Economics at Kyiv National Economic University, LLM in Intellectual Property of Turin University, Internships in Krakow and Geneva. Married, with three sons. Lviv Business School has a lot of interest in the topic of leadership, last year the Center for Leadership was launched in partnership with Ivey Business School where researches on leadership character are being conducted. LvBS also carried out the project in partnership with the US Embassy especially for women on leadership positions. These were three studying programs to develop leadership skills.

Elżbieta Kucia

For last 3 years Elżbieta teaches, trains, advises, prepares her clients for business meetings, especially with difficult clients, networking meetings, negotiations and recruitment meetings. She teaches clients to talk about themselves without embarrassment or stress.

She graduated the School of Professional Coaching at the Institute of Psychoeducation and Integral Development in Cracow. Elżbieta worked professionally for more than 15 years in the financial industry.

Has Master degree in Economics from Finance and Banking Faculty of Cracow University of Economics.

Iwona Dulińska

In the advertising industry has been working for over 25 years in the company KUNSZT. Founding member and chairman of the IV term of the PIAP, member of the KPP. Expert in advertising, print and advertising psychology. Designer and author of many marketing projects. Business Conductor. Author of articles in the trade papers. Dietitian and phytomedicine enthusiast.

A graduate of the Cracow University of Technology, the University of Economics, MBA, a certified dietitian.

Maryana Kahanyak

Head of Export Promotion Office (EPO) and advisor to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine

She was one of the initiators of the Export promotion office initiative in September 2015. Under her leadership, the team of volunteers have grown up into the fully-functional Export Promotion Office.
Currently Mrs. Kahanyak oversees the strategic development and function of the EPO, focusing on Office capacity building, establishing a local and international partnership, governmental support, on sharing Office strategy and vision with customers, partners, stakeholders, and donors. She is a member of the core team for the Export strategy development.
Maryana has over 15 years of international economic relations and business development expertise, sales, marketing and project management experience. Before joining the Export promotion office initiative, Mrs. Kahanyak was responsible for commercial and promotional aspects of the big international sports events such as UEFA EURO 2012 and EuroBasket 2015. She also led the business development of the major Ukrainian TV channel and PR agencies.
